Bear Green Energy was started by Kevin O’Reilly. It started with a journey to simply save some utility costs and ended with him living in a house build in 1900 in Cincinnati, Ohio with no ties to the grid at all. Some of this required new thinking on his part. This journey really has no end as new technologies and old ones reveal better ways to reduce cost and environmental footprint while at the same time having the same standard of living that we have become accustom to. Our goal is to share what we have learned with the public and help them live a cleaner life in the future for us, the planet, and our children. Please check back often as we add content to this site.
